Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Health the number of dedicated breast clinics currently in operation; the average length of time for patients waiting to be seen on referral from their GP; the plans, if any, he has to increase the number of such clinics in view of the alarming rate of breast cancer among Irish women; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
