54. Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make the necessary finance available for a water scheme (details supplied) in County Mayo.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. M. Smith): This group water scheme proposal is still being developed by the group in consultation with Mayo County Council. My Department awaits the submission of the completed proposal.

55. Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received a proposals from Mayo County Council to provide a 4” main for the water supply from Crossmolina to Rake Street, County Mayo; and if he will make the necessary finance available for the purpose.
