[1128] 194. Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to change the administration of post leaving certificate courses from her Department to FÁS or any other agencies.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): I have no plans to change the administration of post-leaving certificate courses from my Department to FÁS or any other agency. Indeed, the continued operation of these programmes within the education sector forms an important part of my Department's submission to Brussels for funding from the European Social Fund for the period 1994-99.
