132. Mr. R. Burke asked the Minister for Finance the revenue from the 1 per cent youth employment levy for the year 1992; and projected figure for 1993.

Minister for Finance (Mr. B. Ahern): The Exchequer receipts from this levy, which is now described as the Employment and Training Levy, totalled £143 million in 1992. The budget target yield in 1993 was £151 million, and this projection should be fully achieved.
