Dáil Éireann - Volume 433 - 08 July, 1993

Written Answers. - Bray (Wicklow) Health Centre.

41. Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the conditions in Bray Health Centre, County Wicklow; if there are any plans for the provision of a new centre; if so, when it will be started and completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health (Mr. Howlin): The provision of a major new health centre in Bray is on the Eastern Health Board's priority list of capital works. It is estimated that the cost of a new health centre in Bray will be up to £1 million.

The question of timing and funding this development is being considered in the context of the formation of my Department's medium-term capital programme but I am not in a position to give a precise timetable for the project at this stage. I am keeping the situation under review.
