Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Mr. Dempsey): I move:

[404] That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Orders, in the case of the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Bill, 1993—

(a) the Second Stage be taken on a date earlier than the twenty-eight day after its introduction, and

(b) the Second Stage be taken on Wednesday, 7th July, 1993.”
