Written Answers. - Division of Commonage.

75. Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if, in relation to the division of a commonage (details supplied) in west Cork, his attention has been drawn to the fact that efforts have been going on for years to [894] have the matter resolved; and if he will confirm that little, mapping and other formalities for the division of the commonage have been cleared up in his Department so that the lands can be vested and registered in the Land Registry.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry (Mr. J. Walsh): Because of title and other difficulties which arose in this case, vesting has not yet been completed. My Department is making every effort to resolve these difficulties with a view to having the lands vested and registered in the Land Registry in the near future.
