213. Mr. Broughan and Ms. Shortall asked the Minister for Education the stage the planned new school building for St. Aidan's CBS, Whitehall, Dublin 9, is at; if the project will be sufficiently advanced to qualify for funding in the 1994 Estimates; and if she will ensure that this school will receive the go-ahead to build in the next budget.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): Architectural planning of a major building project for St. Aidan's CBS, Whitehall, is proceeding satisfactorily. Detail design drawings have been submitted to the Department for examination.

The question of inclusion of this project in the 1994 capital programme will be considered in due course in the context of the 1994 estimates.
