Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Justice the reason the Gardaí do not keep statistics on the theft of bicycles; if she will give any estimate of the number of bicycles which are stolen each year in the State; and the plans, if any, she has to provide for a better system of monitoring bicycle theft.
