55. Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when grants under the suckler cow scheme and the beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry (Mr. J. Walsh): This applicant has been requested to submit documentation in connection with his 1992 applications under the suckler cow premium and cattle and equines headage schemes and when he does so his eligibility for grants under these schemes will be considered further.

My Department is unable to trace any application from him under either of the 1992 special beef premium scheme application periods.
