177. Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment the exact areas, through the names of townlands or otherwise, which will be serviced by phase 1 of the Castleconnor group water scheme, County Sligo, phase 2 of the Castleconnor group scheme and phase 3 of the Castleconnor group water scheme.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. M. Smith): The design data and plans submitted by the group contain a detailed layout of the distribution system based mainly on technical specification, without reference to individual townland boundaries. However Phase 1 is intended to serve an area to the north of the N59 from Tullylin to Killanly; Phase 2 will serve areas adjacent to the N59 from Newtown to Tullylin; and Phase 3 will serve the Cairns area.
