80. Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number of persons availing of the jobs subsidy for those unemployed over eight weeks, and the number availing of special training places in industry schemes.

[434] Minister for Enterprise and Employment (Mr. Quinn): As at 5 February 1993, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 6,335 participants on the Employment Subsidy Scheme and 534 participants on the Job Training Scheme.
