Minister for Justice (Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn): There is a commitment in the [413] Programme for a Partnership Government 1993-1997 to introduce measures aimed at reducing legal costs. It is likely that legislation will be required and my proposals will be announced in the normal way in due course when they have been considered and approved of by the Government.
