516. Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to a school (details proposed) in County Offaly; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): This proposed building project involves the provision of permanent classrooms to replace prefabricated accommodation. The extent of the replacement accommodation needed is being examined at present and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities in due course.
