515. Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on a new school building at Tullylease national school, Charleville, County Cork; and her views, if any, on whether an immediate response is necessary to alleviate the appalling conditions staff and pupils have to deal with everyday.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): It has not been possible to include this project in the 1993 national school capital programme. It will be considered for inclusion in the programme in due course in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
