Written Answers. - Donegal Electricity Utility.

407. Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if his attention has been drawn to the concern of the residents of Higginstown, Ballyshannon, County Donegal at the proposal by the ESB to construct a major electricity utility in that area.

[1016] Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications (Mr. Cowen): I am not aware of such concerns. I am advised that the ESBs plans for the north-west region involve network reinforcement activity which is a day-to-day matter for the company.
