Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Justice the way in which the prospect of increasing numbers of migrants entering the European Community is likely to be tackled post-1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Justice (Mr. Flynn) Pádraig Flynn Minister for Justice (Mr. Flynn): The Treaty on European Union provides for co-operation between member states for the purposes of achieving the objectives of the Union, including co-operation in the area of immigration policy and policy regarding nationals of third countries.
