67. Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Defence the proposals, if any, he has to recruit female personnel to the FCA in 1992; the total number of vacancies; the number allocated for females; if he has satisfied himself with recruitment to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Defence (Mr. Wilson): There was an initial intake of 200 females into the FCA in September-October 1991. The question of further recruitment of females to the FCA is at present under consideration.
