136. Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will make national lottery funds available from his Department for a project (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make the necessary forms and details available.

Minister for Social Welfare (Mr. McCreevy): My Department operate a [1518] scheme of grants to voluntary organisations working with disadvantaged groups. No application under this scheme appears to have been received from the organisation in question.

The 1992 scheme was advertised in the national papers on 20 February and the closing date for receipt of applications was 10 April. Information on the scheme has been sent to the organisation.
