86. Mr. T. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Finance if he has any plans to reorganise his Department so as to prepare for the Single Market in 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

[702] Minister for Finance (Mr. B. Ahern): I do not anticipate any major change in the organisation of my Department. Sections whose work is affected by the introduction of the Single Market in 1993 will have already planned for this eventuality and will, if necessary, be provided with assistance by way of internal re-allocation with regard to staffing and within existing overall resources.
