Written Answers. - Liffey Valley (Dublin) Plan.

82. Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for the Environment if he has [972] received a management plan for the Liffey Valley which is a requirement of the Special Amenity Area Order which was confirmed by his predecessor in March, 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Smith): The making of a management plan which was an objective of the Dublin County Council (Lucan Bridge to Palmerston) Special Amenity Area Order, 1987, as confirmed by the Minister for the Environment on 8 March 1990, is a matter for the planning authority concerned and I have no function in the matter.
