[842] 61. Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Justice when he will give a decision on a naturalisation application made by a person (details supplied) who is a final year medical student at University College, Cork, and who applied two years ago and supplied all the necessary documentation.

Minister for Justice (Mr. Flynn): The position is that my Department sought further information from solicitors acting on behalf of the applicant on 20 January 1992. There will be no avoidable delay in deciding on the application when the information sought is received.
