Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on a recent study carried out at St. Vincent's hospital, Dublin, which shows (a) that of 291 patients with palpable breast cancer, 48 tested negative in pre-operative mammograms and (b) that in the case of eight women, it was another ten months before cancer was diagnosed.
