226. Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if she will outline when the increments due to be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3 will be approved for payment; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): The person in question does not satisfy the criteria under which incremental credit in respect of certain previous temporary service in a clerical grade in a VEC may be allowed. Accordingly, incremental credit cannot be awarded in this particular case.
