67. Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education when essential repairs will be carried out to a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): My Department have under consideration the question of the sanction of a grant for a scheme of improvements to the school in County Kilkenny referred to by the Deputy. A decision in this regard will be conveyed to the school authorities at an early date. I am not in a position, at this stage, to say when works will actually begin.
