51. Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will give details of the proportion of the supplementary welfare allowance which is being paid to people in County Dublin as a rent subsidy.

Minister for Social Welfare (Dr. Woods): Statistics are not maintained by the health boards in such a way as to [2416] provide the information requested by the Deputy.

I am discussing with the boards the question of providing more detailed statistical analyses of the scheme, including more detailed information on rent supplementation.
