Minister for the Environment (Mr. Flynn) Minister for the Environment (Mr. Flynn)
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Flynn): I am not aware of any significant incidence of road accidents linked to the use in this country of left hand drive motor vehicles which are imported temporarily by tourists or permanently by residents.
I understand that there are no regulations in any EC member state specifying a right or left hand drive steering wheel location and I have no proposal to make such regulations.
