Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Mr. V. Brady): I move: That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders— (1) the hour at which business is to be interrupted on Tuesday, 14th May, Wednesday, 15th May and Thursday, 16th May, shall be 10.30 p.m., 10.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. respectively; and (2) in the case of the Local Government Bill, 1991 (a) the proceedings on the Third Stage of the Bill, if not previously concluded, shall be brought to a conclusion at 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 15th May, and (b) the Fourth and Fifth Stages of the Bill shall be taken on Thursday, 16th May, and the proceedings thereon, if not previously concluded, shall be brought to a conclusion at 4.30 p.m. on that day by one Question in each case which shall be put from the Chair and which shall, in relation to amendments, include only amendments set down by the Minister for the Environment.
