101. Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if 50 per cent of all farms were surveyed in an area for the extension of the disadvantaged areas scheme (details supplied) in County [1184] Wexford as the farmers in the vicinity maintain that this was not carried out.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. O'Kennedy): As the 1989 survey was carried out on the basis of townlands and DEDs, it is not possible to provide statistics on a parish basis as requested by the Deputy. If the Deputy frames his question in relation to specific townlands or DEDs surveyed, I will do my best to answer it.
