79. Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for the Marine the reason for the delay in the implementation of a pension scheme for the non-permanent staff employed by Dublin Port and Docks Board; and when the pension scheme will be implemented.

Minister for the Marine (Mr. Wilson): My Department have just received the second draft of a superannuation scheme in relation to the unestablished staff of Dublin Port and Docks Board. The draft, which includes amendments to the scheme originally submitted, will be examined as a matter of urgency with a view to having the matter finalised and the scheme implemented at the earliest possible date.
