333. Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education if she will give consideration to an application from May-nooth post-primary school, County Kildare for financial assistance towards the acquisition of extra lands to provide adequate recreational facilities at the school; if her attention has been drawn to the proposals drawn up by the school authorities; if she will grant approval to these proposals in the current year or in 1991; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): As the Deputy will be aware there are many applications for the provision of new schools and extensions to provide much needed classroom accommodation.
