87. Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Finance the tax allowance which is due to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13, who is in receipt of deserted wife's allowance and has two dependent children.

Minister for Finance (Mr. A. Reynolds): I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a completed return of income form for 1990-91 was received by the inspector of taxes on 26 June 1990. By reference to that return, a certificate of tax free allowances for £538 per annum will be issued shortly to the taxpayer.
