240. Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Health if he will make funds available in order to provide a child psychiatric service in the North-Eastern Health Board area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health (Dr. O'Hanlon): I am aware of the need to develop child psychiatric services in the North-Eastern Health Board area and my Department, in conjunction with the North-Eastern Health Board, are currently examining the situation.
