40. Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the Government has considered the special report commissioned by his Department on the Shannon Estuary; and if it is his intention to publish this report in the near future.

Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. O'Malley): I am at present considering the various recommendations contained in the SFADCo report on the Shannon Estuary in consultation with the relevant Ministers.

As I indicated to the Deputy on 15 February I have no plans to publish the study at this stage.
