It is hoped to bring the weapons back by Naval Service vessel in September-October 1990. It is not the practice to disclose details of the cost of items of defensive equipment. The question of the future of the weapons will be determined on their return to this country, in the light of their condition and the needs of the Defence Forces. Dáil Éireann 399 Written Answers.
