[1182] 92. Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance the present use of Griffith Barracks, Dublin 7; the present occupiers; the lease arrangements in relation to the said occupation; and the proposals for the future use of the said premises.

Minister for Finance (Mr. A. Reynolds): The buildings on the former Griffith Barracks site are vacant. An area of open space has been let on a shortterm basis for the storage of motor vehicles. This arrangement is due to end on 6 April 1990.

The former Griffith Barracks property is surplus to State requirements and will be disposed of on the open market when certain matters relating to title have been resolved.
