[2319] 192. Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education if moneys are available to fund pre-vocational training for mildly mentally handicapped children aged 15 years and over; the way in which application should be made to avail of these funds; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): The funds available, subject to application, which are specifically for the pre-vocational training of mildly mentally handicapped persons are administered by the National Rehabilitation Board under the Minister for Health.
