24. Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Finance when he will give sanction for [1380] the building of a new Garda station at Drogheda, County Louth.

Mr. Daly: Detailed planning on the erection of a new Garda station at Drogheda, County Louth, will proceed as soon as the results of an archaeological investigation which has recently been completed on site are known. It is hoped to have the project ready for invitation of tenders towards the end of this year with a view to placing a contract as soon as possible thereafter, funds permitting.
