Written Answers. - Aer Lingus Survey.

27. Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport if his attention has been drawn to a recent survey indicating that Aer Lingus is the first choice among passengers under a range of headings related to passenger service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Tourism and Transport (Mr. S. Brennan): I have seen the results of the passenger survey of air services on the Dublin-London routes conducted recently by a firm of independent media consultants. I am pleased to note that the results indicate a strong consumer preference for Irish airlines, with Aer Lingus and Ryanair receiving first and second places respectively as most favoured operators on the route.
