292. Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Education the number of primary schools which have video recorders.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): My Department do not have a record of primary schools which currently have video recorders.

My Department operate a scheme of grants for schools towards the cost of purchasing audio visual equipment and video recorders may be purchased under the scheme.
