[1322] 28. Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Marine if Ireland is a member of EIFAC.

Minister for the Marine (Mr. Daly): Yes. Ireland is in fact a founder member of the European Inland Fisheries Advisory Committee (EIFAC) which held its first meeting in Dublin in 1960.

EIFAC is a subsidiary committee of the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation.
