87. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for the Environment the reason grants due to the Loughitane group water scheme, County Kerry have not been paid; and when his Department will be in a position to make these payments.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly): A grant balance of £450 was withheld in this case pending satisfactory completion of the works. The Department's inspector has, however, now indicated that the position in this connection is in order and payment of the outstanding amount will be made as early as possible.
