Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction stage III of the central regional water scheme in order to allow the group water scheme [1141] to serve Knockanish/Spa districts of County Kerry to proceed immediately. My Department have recently received membership details which were sought from the group in connection with the scheme's financing.These details will be examined as soon as possible with a view to an assessment of the group's finances and its grant entitlement. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment when it is proposed to pay the outstanding grants to the Eskerage group water scheme, Bellacorick, Ballina, County Mayo. It is hoped that matters in this connection will be resolved by the County Council in the near future in order that the costs of the scheme can be clarified to permit further grant payments to be made to the group.
