124. Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for the Marine, in view of the fast development of Howth Harbour, Dublin 13, if he will establish a harbour authority which would include all local interests in the Howth area to further oversee the future development of this harbour area.

Minister for the Marine (Mr. Daly): There are no plans to establish a harbour authority for Howth, but as I indicated in my replies to previous questions in connection with Howth I intend to designate the harbour as a fishery harbour centre under the Fishery Harbour Centres Act very shortly.
