18. Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that there is anxiety within third level colleges about the effectiveness of their disciplinary procedure following on recent decisions of the superior courts; and if she has any proposals in this regard.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): The question of disciplinary procedures within the third level colleges is a matter for the authorities of the colleges themselves and I am not aware of any anxiety in this regard.
