[1023] 95. Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the permanent appointment of a principal at Kilshanroe national school, County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): I have sanctioned a temporary appointment only in this school pending consideration by my Department of the provision of primary school facilities in the area. The school authorities will be advised as soon as a decision is taken in this regard.
