16. Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Communications if, in view of the outstanding success of Millennium Radio, he will consider granting permission for it to continue broadcasting further; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Communications (Mr. R. Burke): I have no application on hands for an extension. If such an application were submitted, I would give favourable consideration to extending the licence for a further period.
