22. Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in making the announcement in relation to the future of Carysfort College, County Dublin.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): Consideration of the future use of Carysfort College for educational purposes is ongoing and since it involves the authorities of the Mercy Order it would be inappropriate for me to make any further statement on the matter at present.
