98. Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance when work will commence on the new Garda station at Bandon, County Cork.

Minister for Finance (Mr. MacSharry): The plans for this scheme are being prepared and it is expected that tenders will be invited for the construction of a new divisional headquarters at Weir Street, Bandon, later this year with a view to placing a contract in early 1989.
