58. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for Social Welfare the amount of money allocated to his Department from the national lottery funds; the projects to which he has allocated the money; and the amount of money involved.

Minister for Social Welfare (Dr. Woods): An amount of £750,000 has been allocated to my Department in 1988 from national lottery funds. The money will be [582] used to make grants to voluntary bodies in the social services area. Heretofore these grants were provided for in the Vote for my Department.

59. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the amount of money allocated to his Department from the national lottery funds; the projects to which he has allocated the money; and the amount of money involved.

Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. Reynolds): No money has been allocated to my Department from the national lottery funds.

60. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for Communications the amount of money allocated to his Department from the national lottery funds; the projects to which he has allocated the money; and the amount of money involved.

Minister for Communications (Mr. Burke): No allocation of national lottery funds has been made to the Department of Communications.
